08/170/09 - Regualtion 22 - In Kind Replacement Site Location and Design Aporoval Regualtions for Domestic Wastewater Treatment Works
The WQCD added a definition for “in-kind replacement” to Regulation 22 – Site Location and Design Approval. The definition was added to clarify whether replacement of equipment with similar equipment, rated for a higher capacity, is exempt from the site location and design approval process.
03/30/07 - Long Term 2 Enhanced Surface Water Treatment Rule (LT2ESWTR)
The LT2ESWTR was promulgated in January of 2006 in an effort to improve drinking water quality and to provide
additional protection from disease-causing microorganisms and contaminants that can form during drinking water
treatment.
04/09/07 - Stage 2 Disinfectants/Disinfection By-Products Rule (Stage 2 DBPR)
The Stage 2 DBPR was promulgated in January of 2006 in an effort to improve drinking water quality and to provide additional protection from disinfection byproducts.
10/19/07 - Temperature Standards
The Colorado Water Quality Control Commission (WQCC) held a rulemaking hearing on January 8, 2007 to determine how
temperature standards would be applied to wastewater entities with Colorado Discharge Permit System (CDPS) discharge
permits. Temperature standards are considered to be an important limitation for the protection of fish and other aquatic life.
